Royal Victoria Railway

We were sorry to disappoint so many people who had not managed to book in time and found all the trains full. The Railway runs several themed events which need to be booked as places are limited. It was great to see so many wonderful pirates and we look forward to seeing parents and children dressing up for Halloween on Saturday 25th October. I would like to thank Mr and Mrs Kelly for all the help they have given us with our recent specials. We welcomed Mrs Stevens and her two children as new volunteers on our Pirate Special and we all look forward to seeing more of them in the future.

Don’t forget to book early for Christmas, if you book and pay by 28th November you can enjoy a 20% discount.

Following my exploration, billions of persons all over the world receive the loans from good creditors. Thus, there is a good possibility to find a car loan in all countries.

Local Riding School - We Need Your Support!!
written by Victoria, July 13, 2010
Dear All,

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Victoria I originally came from Poland to finish my education here in the UK back in 2004. I achieved my masters degree at Portsmouth University in 2008 and moved to Netley to take over the old Abbey School of Equitation in 2009. (Riding School) Myself and my partner have worked tirelessly over the last 14 months to rejuvenate and rebuild the school which is now called LillyWhites Riding Centre. We think Horse Riding is a wonderful physical activity that should be encouraged. Unfortunately these days young people are to inclined to sit in front of games consoles all day, which is no good for their health and general well being.

Its been a real struggle building the Riding School up as it had somewhat of a "not so good" reputation, however we are really proud of what we are achieving now and have students from all the local schools including Netley Infants, Junior and Hamble College. In fact one of our 13 year old students currently at Hamble has been training with us for around a year now and has begun show jumping in the BSJA (British Showjumping Association) on one of our show jumping horses. We also have a former Hamble pupil currently at Sparsholt college who helps out part time and who has also started BSJA show jumping.

Our Pony Club is becoming very popular with youngsters from Netley making up most of the numbers, the Pony Club not only teaches them how to ride but teaches them about the care and management of the animals as well, it instills responsibility into the young people and encourages them to learn about how to look after the horses and not only ride them. Our Pony starts at just £15 for 1hr for under 8's and £18 for 1hr for over 8's and they can come as little or often as they want.

As Netley, Burseldon, Lowford & Hambles most local riding school we want to really become part of the community as we think that the activity is great for young and old alike, however we do need the support of the community in order to stand a chance of survival in this difficult financial period. There have been a couple of attempts at having a Riding School here and unfortunately few success's if any, we don't want to be a statistic we want to be here for the long haul and so any support would be much appreciated.

Thanks and hopefully see you all soon
